Fall Newsletter 2024
September 12, 2024
Dear Ridgway Library Patrons,
The Ridgway Library had a busy summer with a variety of programs for all ages. Many people stopped in and picked up seeds in the seed library, others learned about Mahjong during the month of July. We had wonderful presenters during our children’s summer reading programs and fortunate to work with the Voyager Youth Program as so many children were able to attend the summer reading events.
Many children and teens participated in summer reading challenges and collected various prizes.
A BIG Thank You to Café Ridgway a La Mode, Snowbirds Craft Shaved Ice and Colorado Boy for providing gift cards to their establishments for our avid readers.
As summer turns to fall, we look forward to a few upcoming events at the library and beyond.
Saturday, September 14th Mountain Magic Art Show reception from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the library.
Saturday, September 28th Seed Saving Class with Yvette Henson, CSU Extension County Director, from 10:00-11:30 in the library meeting rooms. Please contact the library to sign-up. Space is limited.
